Distribution kits

Here you can download jFirewall Personal Pro distribution kits. You’ll find distribution kits that can be used under 32-, as well as under 64-bit Windows operating systems.

The current version available for download is 1.3.0.0. Note that before installing a new version it's strongly recommended to uninstall a previous one and reboot your operating system. Also note that operating system is not guaranteed to be stable in case of two or more firewalls (including various security suites) installed together.

The software is compatible with the following Windows versions:

  • Windows XP
  • Windows XP x64
  • Windows Server 2003
  • Windows Server 2003 x64
  • Windows Vista
  • Windows 7

The software runs on the following hardware architectures:

  • 32 bits: Intel x86 and compatible
  • 64 bits: Intel EM64T
  • 64 bits: AMD 64

Note that some of the product's functionality (particularly, self-defense and defense of the system processes and threads) will not be available on the 64-bit operating systems due to the built-in limitations of it's kernels.

Necessary components

Before installing the firewall it is necessary to download and install Microsoft .Net Framework version 2.0 SP1 or newer. You can download and install it yourself or leave it to Installer, which will do it automatically without any effort on your part. Links to .Net Framework distribution kit are provided below.
